With over 100 international caps, Eugénie currently plays as a forward for Lyon and the France national team. She primarily plays as a creative attacking midfielder and left winger, but has also played as a second strike for her country. She is one of the most decorated players in modern women’s football and has scored more goals for France than any other player of any gender. She has won 11 French domestic titles and is one of just 3 players to have won a record eight European Cups with Lyon. She currently has over 180 caps for France.
Eugénie made her comeback at the FWWC, after being left out of the WEURO22 squad, announcing her return with a bang. As one of the most experiences players for Les Bleues, Eugénie scored France’s first FWWC goal against Brazil. She was an integral part of the team but unfortunately France fell at the quarter-final against Australia in a penalty shoot out.
